VE Commercial Vehicles Limited is a joint venture between the Volvo Group (Volvo) and Eicher Motors Limited (EML).
In 2008, two leading players, Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, in the commercial vehicle business joined hands with a common vision of driving modernization in the commercial transport business in India and formed VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. A multi-brand, multi-division company, backed by innovative products & services, VECV today, is recognized as an industry leader in CV industry. Located in VECV’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Pithampur, VECV is a global hub for medium duty engines for the Volvo Group and has been engaged in supply of base engines for Euro VI requirements of the Volvo Group since 2013 which are being supplied in over 41 markets around the world.
Plant & Infrastructure
Our manufacturing facility consists of a state-of-the-art engine machine shop, unique assembly line, and is equipped with Auto Guided Vehicles along with a new generation paint shop for greater operational flexibility and manufacturing of high-quality engines with a superior finish.
R&D
VECV has a highly-advanced engine development center that is equipped with the latest testing facility. More than 450 experts constantly strive to achieve utmost fuel efficiency and product reliability.
Technology
Our diesel engines are meeting India’s latest emission norms and are also future-ready for the upcoming BS IV (CEV) and BS V ( CEV) emission norms.
